Current subscribers will be given time to adjust to the new tiers, but all these changes will immediately apply to new subscribers. It will probably lead to some leaving the service altogether and transferring to other alternatives, like Microsoft’s OneNote, SimpleNote and even Google’s own GoogleKeep. This will probably be met with annoyance by those who have already included Evernote in their productivity workflow. Evernote Premium is now $2 more expensive at $7.99/month ($69.99/year) and you get 10GB of storage monthly, the ability to search within Office documents and annotate PDFs as well. You also get offline note support and you can even forward your emails to Evernote to save them alongside related notes. Notion has four pricing tiersa Free plan, a Personal plan for 4 a month, a Team plan at 8 per member per month, and an Enterprise plan at 20 per member per month. You get unlimited syncs across devices, 1GB of upload space every month, as compared to the 60MB you get for the free version. Evernote offers three pricing tiersa free Basic plan, a Premium plan for 7.99 a month, and a Business plan for 14.99 per user per month.

This is an interesting move on the part of Evernote, and it will be interesting to see how many people jump on board with these new pricing tiers. With these new pricing tiers, it seems the Premium tier offers the most bang for the buck. However for what you get, and only a $1 increase over the previous premium subscription, these are features that can be beneficial to most people. Enrolling in the Evernote Premium subscription will bring you the following features on top of what’s available with the Evernote Plus subscription:Īs with the comparison between the Plus tier with the Basic tier, not everyone will need the features of Evernote Premium. With a $1 increase per month, and $5 a year, Evernote Premium just about matches the old pricing system from before with seemingly the same features. For $5.99 a month, or $49.99 a year, you can unlock everything from above plus more. Finally, the last tier available is Evernote Premium.
